Whitechapel Will Head To The Studio Soon To Record New Album

Many bands have tapped into their creative sides during the pandemic as a way to keep busy and pass the time. Whitechapel is no different. The band have used their time off to write a new record and will be heading to the studio soon.

Guitarist Alex Wade recently did an interview with Knotfest.com’s Terry “Beez” Bezer. “I definitely feel like we got kind of cut short as far as the album cycle for The Valley goes,” Wade stated. “But we’re trying to make the best of it that we can. We had a lot of killer tours and everything lined up this year. But it is what it is, and we just kind of have to roll with the punches.

“We made the best of a bad situation, and we ended up writing another album. So we’re gonna be going into the studio this week, actually, and we’re gonna start production on that. I think, truly, if we would have ended up going on all those tours that we wouldn’t have had the time to dedicate to making the best album possible, but since we were all sitting at home on our ass, we were able to make a really killer record.”

One positive thing about 2020, it’s given us a lot of great music.
