Metallica will be performing live this upcoming Sunday, for the first time since their charity streaming event in November 2020, which helped to earn over $1.3 million for the All Within Amy Hands Foundation.
The band will be playing live on as part of a special Super Bowl Weekend edition of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. The show will air this Sunday after the Super Bowl at 11:35pm/EST.
While Metallica has never officially played the Super Bowl…yet, this is as close as it’s come. We’re celebrating the #SuperBowl with our friend @stephenathome on Sunday! Tune in to @colbertlateshow’s “A Late Show: Super Bowl Edition” at 11:35pm EST on CBS to catch our performance. #LSSC #LateShow pic.twitter.com/uis4RaAIyb— Metallica (@Metallica) February 2, 2021
