Metallica is getting creative in order to still put on live shows during the Covid-19 pandemic. The band is going to record the live show near their headquarters in Northern California prior to August 29th. They then will send all of the footage to a team of editors to make the show something truly unique.

Tickets for this show will go on sale to the general public on August 14th. Pre-sale tickets will go on sale August 12th, for the Metallica’s Fifth Member fan club. One concert ticket will admit up to 6 people, or 1 car load of attendees.

All drive-in theaters that are participating will adhere to the CDC guidelines, as well as all local and state guidelines. Drive-in staff will wear proper PPE, park cars at least 6ft apart from one another and offer contactless payment and ticketing systems. Oh and if you need to use the restroom, there will be a limit on capacity and all concessions will be enforced to abide by local and state rules.
