Evanescence Release New Single “Use My Voice”

Earlier this week Evanescence front woman Amy Lee, took to Facebook to reflect back on an interview question she had over the weekend about women in mainstream rock. Evanescence has now released their new single “Use My Voice”, which features a lot of leading ladies in rock music.

The track features Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale, Taylor Momsen from The Pretty Reckless, Sharon den Adel from Within Tempation, violinist Lindsey Stirling, Amy McLawhorn, the wife of Evanescence guitarist Troy McLawhorn, Amy Lee’s 2 sisters Carrie South and Lori Lee Bulloch, and song co-writer Deena Jakoub from Veridia.

Referring to the new track Lee said: “This is an era of awakening and full of powerful beauty. I hope to inspire others to seek truth, find their own voices and use them as I step up to use mine. Don’t let anybody speak for you. Only you can do that.”

“Use My Voice” is the 3rd single from their upcoming album “The Bitter Truth”. The previous 2 releases were “The Game Is Over” and “Wasted On You”. No album release date has been announced at this time.
