Last week Fear Factory guitarist Dino Cazares advised fans that the bands legal battles are coming to an end and new music will be released in 2021.
That’s about all we knew until today. Cazares who is very fan friendly on social media, has now advised that Mike Heller will be returning to play drums and that Tony Campos will no longer be apart of Fear Factory, as he has now shifted his focus full time back to Static-X. Cazares said that he is really excited for Campos and that he is one of his best friends.
At least for the recording portion of the album, Cazares will be playing guitar and bass. The band has also enlisted Rhys Fulber and Andy Sneap to produce the album.
Cazares told fans they are still signed to Nuclear Blast, but are working on securing funds to create the new album. When some fans suggested crowd funding, Cazares stated that due to the current economy, they were trying to avoid that.
Who else is excited for 2021?
